Be Joyful

The inspiration for this card came from a wonderful place called Pioneer Village, found here, which was the site for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today. I had this little stamp scene that reminded me of that scene. I die cut my watercolour paper with my stitched rectangle die, but left the bottom the nature edge of the paper. I used my Mini Misti to arrange my stamps and first coloured the cabin scene with Zig Brushes, then spritzed lightly with water before stamping. I removed that stamp and inked the sentiment with the distress ink, repeating several times for a good impression. I added colour to the sky with the Zig brushes then added foam strips to the panel before attaching to my card base. A few snowflake sequins finished my card. Thanks so much for dropping by ...

This is stunning, Kia. I love the stamp and how you colored it with the markers. It has nice shadows to it which gives a lot of dimension. Beautiful card for the upcoming season.
